If the guest replies "confirm"

"Great, done. Thanks."

If the guest replies "cancel"

"Your reservation at (Restaurant Name) has been cancelled. Thanks for letting us know."

Reservation Confirmation Text Timing

Dinner Reservations

4pm the day prior to the reservation - All guests who book a dinner reservation by 3pm the day prior to the reservation date will receive the confirmation SMS at this time. 

>> Follow-up confirmation at 12pm (only for dinner reservations) - If guests do not reply to reminder SMS text, they will receive a follow-up text at noon the day of the reservation. This timing and text content cannot currently be edited under Guest Communications.

12pm the day of the reservation - Guests who book a dinner reservation the day prior to the reservation date after 3pm will get the confirmation SMS at this time. 

>> Day of Reservations - Guests who book a dinner reservation for the day of are considered confirmed and do not receive a confirmation SMS.

Lunch/Brunch Reservations

10am the day of the reservation - All guests who booked prior to the date of the reservation will receive the confirmation SMS at this time. 

>> Day of Reservations - Guests who book a Lunch/Brunch reservation the day of are considered confirmed and do not receive a confirmation SMS.

Breakfast Reservations

9pm the day prior to the reservation - All guests who book a breakfast reservation by 8pm the day prior to the reservation date will receive the confirmation SMS at this time.

>> Reservations made after 8pm - Guests who book a Breakfast reservation after 8pm the day prior are considered confirmed and do not receive a confirmation SMS.

Reservation Reminder Text Timing

60 minutes prior to the reservation time - Restaurants in PST & Miami receive the SMS reminder 60 minutes prior to the reservation time. 

30 minutes prior to the reservation time - All Restaurants not in PST receive the SMS reminder 30 minutes prior to the reservation time.

Custom SMS Reminders

The language and timing for all automated reminder SMS, except the Follow-up Reminder SMS, can be customized for Platform 360 and Full Stack partners through the online Resy Dashboard under Guest Communications.  Contact your Account Manager or Resy Support if you’d like to upgrade your monthly service package.
