Resy software is constantly learning and pulling data about your restaurant. Resy Analytics aggregates these numbers and provides detailed reporting about your business.
To access Analytics from the Resy Dashboard, click the graph icon in the top left corner and select 'Analytics' from the dropdown menu.
You'll see each topic has its own tab in the Analytics page. There are six standard topics: Home, Reservations, Covers, Ratings, Timing, and Monthly Guestbook. To be added to the Analytics email distribution list, select User Permission or click here for more information.
The Home page is where you can see today's cover stats at a glance and compare them to yesterday's performance. Scroll through this page to also view recent reviews and past cover trends.
The Reservation tab is a list of all upcoming reservations for the selected date. You can choose a date from the date picker at the top of the page. You can sort the list by all guests or VIPs. You can also email the report to specific email addresses on your distribution list by clicking on 'Email Report'.
The Covers page is where you can see a monthly cover breakdown and average covers by service period. Total Covers displays covers for the month broken down by reservations, walk-ins, and waitlist covers. You can also view the number of no show covers and total reservations.
Average Daily Covers displays your average covers broken down by service period and reservation type. In addition, we also display the difference in covers from the previous month. You can email the report to specific email addresses on your distribution list by clicking on 'Email Report'.
The Ratings page displays the average guest rating for the restaurant, average guest rating by server, and all individual ratings. After each visit, guests receive an email from Resy asking them to rate their experience on a 5-star scale. Guests have the option to include a comment and choose factors driving their review; Food, Service, Vibe and Other.
Resy ratings are a closed loop system, meaning only restaurants are able to see the review and individual star rating. Guests are able to see the all-time star rating online and in the Resy app. You can email the report to specific email addresses on your distribution list by clicking on 'Email Report'. You can also be added to an automated distribution list and receive the report each morning.
Resy offers customizable Surveys to our Platform 360 and Full Stack partners that allow for more in-depth feedback and access to third-party rating sites (Facebook, TripAdvisor, Google, etc.) With Surveys you can solicit private, 100% customizable feedback with its reservation-integrated, dynamic survey functionality. Guest feedback is tied to a guest name, the wait time, their table number, their server, their check.

The Timing Report shows your average turn times and waitlist stats. Turn times are indicated for all parties sizes every day and service of the week. Turn Time is defined as the time from when guest status is changed to Seated to when guest status is changed to Finished. Guest statuses that are never updated to Finished, or statuses that are changed to Finished after longer than four hours have been excluded from this calculation.
Your Monthly Guestbook includes all guests that have dined in your restaurant in the selected month, sorted by all-time visit count. You can export this list using the Email Report option in the top right corner. For an all-time guestbook, please email email@example.com!
Platform 360 and Full Stack partners can create custom analytic reports to provide valuable insights into their businesses.
- Cover Source Reports: Many restaurants request a custom source report with a more in-depth breakdown of where their guests are coming from (Google, walk-ins, Resy.com, Instagram, Airbnb, your website, etc.) This report can inform where to spend your marketing dollars.
- Cancellation Report: Determine if last-minute cancellations are killing your books. A cancellation report can show when you’re seeing the most amount of cancellations and can help inform a cancellation policy on weekends, holidays or large parties.
