Tags can be used in ResyOS to communicate important information about your guests and reservations to all restaurant employees from the host stand to the kitchen. Tags are shared and available to use at all restaurants in a restaurant group to streamline information about your guests company wide. 

Creating new tags in ResyOS

  1. From ResyOS tap the restaurant name in the top left corner
  2. Tap 'Settings'
  3. Tap 'Tags' 
  4. Choose 'Guest' or 'Visit' by tapping the corresponding headers
  5. Tap 'Add New'
  6. Name your tag
  7. Select tag attributes where applicable (Allergy, Concierge, Occasion)
  8. Tap 'Save'

Guest Tags

Guest tags live on a guest's profile indefinitely once added. They should indicate information you want to know about the guest every time they dine with you. For example: Regular, VIP, Friend of House, Nut Allergy, etc. When creating a guest tag you can assign the tag one of the following attributes. Tags with attributes will be indicated in unique ways in ResyOS. 

Allergy Attribute - Guest tags with this attribute will be the first tag listed on the guest profile and will be in red. An orange knife and fork icon will be listed next to the reservation on the reservation list in ResyOS indicating an allergy tag is present. 

Concierge Attribute - Guest tags with this attribute will be purple in color and guests given a concierge tag will be given special permissions to book on behalf of others when making reservations on Resy.com. Learn more about guest concierge permissions here

Visit Tags

Visit tags will only show up on the specific reservation they are added to and they should indicate information specific to the reservation. For example: Birthday, Highchair, Requests Window, etc. When creating a visit tag you'll have the option to attribute the tag as an occasion tag. 

Occasion Attribute - Visit tags with this attribute will show up in blue. A birthday cake icon will be listed next to the reservation on the reservation list in ResyOS indicating an occasion tag is present.
