You can make a reservation in ResyOS the following ways:

  • Booking Module

  • Timeline View

  • Bookings Panel

Step 1: Select your Booking Tool

Booking Module

  1. Open the Booking Module. In the top right corner, tap the booking button to open the Booking Module.

  2. Select the date, party size, time, and table type by scrolling on each column in the Booking Module. 

  3. Tap Add Guest

  4. Enter in the guest's full phone number. Resy OS will search both your guestbook and the Resy Database. Phone numbers are required to book a reservation. If the guest doesn't have a profile, click Create New Guest to add them to your guestbook (view how to add a new guest below). If you're booking on behalf someone (ex. concierge or executive assistant calls in) - follow the book on behalf of instructions here

Timeline View

  1. From the ResyOS app on your iPad, please tap the icon to the right of the restaurant name in the top left corner to toggle from the floor plan view to the timeline/grid view

  2. Select the correct Service Date and Service Period along the top of the screen

  3. Locate the table and time you would like to book the reservation, tap and hold that block, then slide your finger to the '+' Reserve icon

  4. Tap Add Guest

  5. Enter in the guest's full phone number. Resy OS will search both your guestbook and the Resy Database. Phone numbers are required to book a reservation. If the guest doesn't have a profile, click Create New Guest to add them to your guestbook (view how to add a new guest below). Bookings Panel

  1. On the Floorplan view, click the plus sign (+) in the bookings panel on the left side of the screen next to 'Booked'

  2. Select the date, party size, time, and table type by scrolling on each column in the Booking Module.

  3. Tap Add Guest

  4. Enter in the guest's full phone number. Resy OS will search both your guestbook and the Resy Database. Phone numbers are required to book a reservation. How to Add a New Guest

If the guest profile does not appear after typing in the full guest phone number:

  1. Tap "Create New Guest"

  2. Add Name

  3. Tap "Reserve"

How to Complete the Reservation

  1. Tap blue "Reserve" button at the bottom of the Booking Module.

  2. This will bring up the accountability screen: Tap the name or initials for the person completing the reservation. If not listed, tap "Add Name".

  3. Confirmation emails are automatically toggled on, if a guest has an email on their Resy profile. To disable the confirmation email, tap the green toggle next to the email address.

Please Note: Green Check marks are an internal guide to help your team know what to book in-house in order to optimize your reservation flow. This does not indicate which tables are available.

How to View Reservation on Booked List

Look at the Booked list on the left-hand side of your screen. Reservations can be sorted by time, party size, name, table number,  status, and date created. You can search for reservations using the search bar up top.
