**Add a Prepaid policy to your reservations to have guests make a payment at the time of booking. Edit prepaid policies from the dashboard to adjust the price per guest. To have a Cancellation Policy or Prepaid Reservations, you're required to add your banking information in your** [**Transaction Settings**](https://helpdesk.resy.com/en_us/managing-transactions-settings-for-us-partners-BJIGq7ju_)**.**

**Please note:** You cannot have **both** a Prepaid Policy and Cancel Fee. You can only have one or the other.

**Add Prepaid Policy for All Reservations**

1. Log in to the [Resy Dashboard](https://os.resy.com/portal/login), preferably using a Chrome browser.
2. Click “Service” from the left-hand menu and then “Shift Settings”.
3. Go into all active shifts, click the three dots icon on the top right-hand corner, and select “Edit Shift”.
4. Scroll to “Reservation Settings” in Step 4.
5. Toggle on “Prepaid Reservation” and enter your policy information.
6. Click “Update Shift”.

**Add Prepaid Policy for Specific Tables**

1. Log in to the [Resy Dashboard](https://os.resy.com/portal/login), preferably using a Chrome browser.
2. Click “Service” from the left-hand menu and then “Shift Settings”.
3. Select the shift you'd like to edit by clicking the three dots icon in the top right-hand corner of the shift and select “Edit Shift”.
4. Select “Step 5 Custom Policies” and tap on “Customize Tables”.
5. Select the tables that will have the prepaid policy attached and tap “Next, Customize Policies”.
6. Toggle on “Prepaid Reservation” and enter your policy information.
7. Tap “Save” and “Update Shift”.

_**Please note**__: The policy is specifically attached to tables, not party size. For example, if you'd like parties of six to be charged when booking, you will need to attach the policy to all tables of six or more, and in some cases this may include tables that accommodate parties of less than six guests (i.e., 4-6 top)._
