### Both guestbooks and future reservations can be imported into Resy.

A few things to keep in mind when transferring your data:

* All export files should be sent in CSV format.
* Payment is not transferrable to Resy. Any pre-paid reservations and experiences made through your previous system will still need to be managed and processed through that system.
* You may experience a delay in response time from Support for help with downloading data. If applicable, please ask your system’s Support team for assistance at least one week before your launch date to allow enough time to import data.

**When to export your data:**

* **Guestbooks** can be sent to your Implementation Specialist any time before launch, preferably one week in advance.
* **Future reservations** should be sent the morning of your launch. Please disable your previous system’s online availability when you send the file with your future reservations.

# From Yelp

**Please note: Yelp data transfers are limited and reservations must be manually imported****.**

##

## **How to export your guestbook:**

1. Log in to Toast Web.
2. On the left-hand side, click on “Guests”.
3. View the “Filters” tab and check off guests with phone numbers. Then click “Export guests”.Download and email the CSV file to your Implementation Specialist.

* The file must include the **guest’s name, mobile number, and email**. This information is required for us to import guestbooks. We also recommend including guest notes, tags, and visit history as well.

## **How to export your future reservations:**

Due to Yelp's policy on guest data sharing, future reservations must be manually transferred from Yelp to Resy OS. This can be delegated to your host or reservation team and is a great way to practice booking reservations in Resy OS.

**Please note**: The reservation report Yelp sends to restaurants is redacted for any guest that has not opted in for marketing. Yelp has provided the following information about why that is, “_Please note that we are only able to legally share the reservation information of guests who have "opted in" to our platform, so there are some specifics missing with some of the reservations; however, the cover counts, and timing of the reservations are there._” As a result, the reservation report is incomplete and has “Unavailable” where guest data should be.

**On launch day,** you’ll want to disable online reservations in Yelp.

For assistance, please contact the Yelp general support line at (844)-889-9066.
