Please note: Prior to filling out any information, your account must be created by someone authorized to sign in on your organization’s behalf.
Setting up your Stripe account:
1. Sign into the ResyOS Dashboard and click the graph icon in the upper left-hand corner, then click into ‘Venue’ under ‘Settings’.
2. In the far-right hand corner click ‘Transaction Settings’.
3. Click ‘Set Up & Connect to Stripe’ to be redirected to the Stripe Dashboard.
Please note: The Resy OS Dashboard image (pictured above) can vary depending on your restaurant’s location, if you have previously submitted banking information, or are a newly onboarded Resy restaurant partner.
4. Stripe will ask you to create an account with a unique log in and password. Please keep a record of the log in and password created and do not share these credentials.
5. Once you have created your Stripe account, you will be asked to fill out information about your restaurant, such as your business details, public details, payout details, and ownership information. After filling out the required information, please click ‘Submit’.
What does the transaction status in the Resy OS Dashboard mean?
Transaction Status (also known as status badges) provides a quick way to understand the status of your Stripe account. You can view the status of your Stripe account in both the Stripe dashboard and Resy OS Dashboard. Your venue can transact and accept payments via Stripe if your account is in a complete status. Your venue may experience disruptions in transacting and accepting payments via Stripe if your account is in an 'enabled' or 'restricted soon' status.
Please note: Your venue will not be able to transact or process payments through Stripe if your status says ‘Restricted’. Click ‘Stripe Dashboard’ (see first image below) to be automatically redirected to Stripe to finish setting up your account from where you previously left off. To learn more about each status visit this article provided by Stripe. The second image below shows that your Stripe account has been completed and you are ready to begin transacting and accepting payments on Stripe.
