Visit Notes and Guest Notes are a great way to build your guest profiles and reservations to give your guests the best experience possible with every visit. 

*   **Visit Notes**: Live on a particular reservation only. Examples include Birthday, Anniversary, requested a booth if available, high-chair request, bringing a cake, going to a show after dinner, etc.
*   **Guest Notes**: Live on a guest profile indefinitely. Examples include regular, nut allergy, friend of house, etc.

## **Ways to Add Visit and Guest Notes**

Both Visit and Guest Notes can be added in the Booking Module or by tapping the reservation on the timeline or floorplan view.

*   Guest Notes can also be added directly by searching a guest in the guest book, tapping their profile, and adding from there.

**Add from the Booking Module**

### **Visit Notes**

Visit Notes can only be viewed at the specific venue the guest is booked at, even if you are in a venue group. 

How to add a Visit Note:

1.  Tap the plus sign (+) to the right of "Visit".
2.  Tap "Visit Note".
3.  Enter your note. 
4.  Tap "Next". 
5.  Beneath "Added by" select your name or initials. If your name or initials aren't on the list, scroll down to the bottom and tap "Add New Name". 
6.  Tap "Create Note".

### **Guest Notes**

*   Food and Beverage Guest Notes will default to sharing with your venue group.
*   Hospitality or General Guest Notes are only seen within your venue.  
*   For any category Guest Note you can choose whether it’s shared at venue or group level.

How to add a Guest Note:

1.  Tap the plus sign (+) to the right of "Guest".
2.  Tap "Guest Note".
3.  Enter your note. 
4.  Tap "Next". 
5.  Beneath "Added by" select your name or initials. If your name or initials aren't on the list, scroll down to the bottom and tap "Add New Name". 
6.  Tap "Create Note".

**Tip:** For Guest Notes, you can toggle on "Share With Group" if you are in a venue group and want all your venues to see the note on the guest’s profile.

## **Add from the Reservation Profile**

1.  Tap the reservation that you want to add a note to, either from the Floor Plan View or Timeline View. 
2.  Tap the plus sign to the right of “Guest” or “Visit”.
3.  Tap “Guest Note” or “Visit Note”. 
4.  Enter your note. 
5.  Tap "Next". 
6.  Beneath "Added by" select your name or initials. If your name or initials aren't on the list, scroll down to the bottom and tap "Add New Name". 
7.  Tap "Create Note".

**Tip:** For high priority Guest and Visit Notes, you can click “Pin” to pin the note. Pinned notes appear first if the guest has a list of notes.

**View Visit Notes on Floor Plan View**

1.  From the Floor Plan View and settings, click “Reservations”. 
2.  Toggle on “Show reservation Visit Notes on Reservation list”.
3.  The Guest and Visit Notes will appear under the reservation name on the Booked List.
