Whether you're hosting a General Admission or Assigned Seating event, if you choose to run your event alongside normal service be sure to adjust your base shift to reflect the correct availability with a Single Day Edit.

If your event is being held on a separate floor plan like a private dining room or your patio that is not usually bookable, you're all set!

If your event is taking place on your standard floor plan, you'll want to make sure those tables are not bookable as regular dining tables.

1. Click “Service”from the left-hand menu, then "Calendar" in the dashboard and create a [Single Day Edit](https://resy.kustomer.help/en_us/how-to-make-a-single-day-edit-in-the-dashboard-service-settings-rJf6bD7IO).![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/6036f66758799c770950d98d/54e330cc13efb0333cdd290f95c6d707.png)
