You can add items to a Reservation Type, such as:

*   Take-Home Item (i.e., Cookbook),
*   Meal Enhancement (i.e., Beverage Pairing, Caviar)
*   Add to the Experience (i.e., Bottle Service)

**Please note:** Items are currently only available for **prepaid reservations**. Therefore, you’ll need to toggle on “Prepaid Reservation” under Step 4 to create Items.

## **How to Add an Item for your Shift Reservation Type:**

1.  Visit “Dashboard”. 
2.  Click “Service”. 
3.  Click “Shift Settings”.
4.  Click the three dots icon.  
5.  Select "Edit Shift".
6.  Scroll to “Optional Policies” under Step 4.
7.  Toggle on “Prepaid Reservation” and enter the required fields.
8.  Scroll down to “Items” and click “Add or Edit Items”.
9.  Select a category (Beverage Pairing, Merchandise, Prix-Fixe) or “[Start From Scratch”](https://resy.kustomer.help/en_us/how-to-organize-items-in-categories-SkXoWDQUu).
10.  Click “Add Item”.
11.  Select the Item(s).
12.  Click “Add”.
13.  Click “Save” and “Update Shift”.

## **How to Add Items for your Custom Reservation Type:**

1.  Visit “Dashboard”.
2.  Click “Service”.
3.  Click “Shift Settings”.
4.  Click the three dots icon.
5.  Select "Edit Shift".
6.  Scroll to “Customize Tables” under “Custom Policies” in Step 5.
7.  Select tables.
8.  Click “Next, Customize Policies”. 
9.  Complete the required fields.
10.  Toggle on “Prepaid Policy”
11.  Click "Items" tab.
12.  Select a category (Beverage Pairing, Merchandise, Prix-Fixe) or “[Start From Scratch](https://resy.kustomer.help/en_us/how-to-organize-items-in-categories-SkXoWDQUu)”.
13.  Click “Add Item”.
14.  Select the Item(s).
15.  Click “Add”.
16.  Click “Save” and “Update Shift”.
