# Advanced Analytics - POS: Spend & Turn Times

The **POS: Spend and Turn Time** report lays out spend by turn time and party size and answers which party size is your most profitable.

The filters are defaulted to show your data from the last 30 days, all reservation sources and service periods. To look at a different date range, source, or shift, click into each filter and set. You can also filter by First Time Diners.

**Spend by Party Size** illustrates the Per Person Average (PPA) Spend for each party size. On the left-hand side of the graph, you’ll find the PPA spend for each of the party sizes listed below.

**Turn Times by Party Size** shows your average turn time for each party size. Larger parties typically have longer turn times. Restaurants with set menus often have a similar turn time across the board.

**Optimal Party Size Based on Spend and Turn Time** brings it all together, showing the most profitable party size by the minute at your restaurant. If your most profitable party size is 8, consider creating more table combos for that party size or putting more 8-tops online. If 5-6-tops aren’t as lucrative, consider removing those combos or only offering them in-house. By adjusting the filters at the top by reservation source, you can further optimize your books for profitability.
