Daily Forecast
The Daily Forecast is a projection of your expected sales and covers based on the previous five weeks of data along with anticipated no shows, VIPs expected to dine, your spread of covers and confirmation status. The Daily Forecast is intended for managers involved with daily operations as well as anyone who wants to stay in the know.
POS Trends Dashboard
The POS Trends Dashboard shows sales category trends and top selling items, what your first-time diners are ordering, and sales by booking source. This report is for all management levels and we recommend reviewing it monthly. Check out the product mix and spend by sales category to inform menu planning, ordering, pricing and upselling. More to come from Resy's data team on this report!
POS Overview
The POS Overview highlights your PPA (per person average, or cover average) by shift and booking source, top spending guests and your optimal party size. We recommend reviewing this monthly with all manager levels and above. Our biggest take away here is the optimal party size based on spend and turn times. If 4 tops spend the most but take a while to turn, you might want to do some server training or reconfigure your dining space. Utilizing this information can help you build your business and maximize your dining space. You can also see spend by reservation source which can help direct marketing efforts or build your books. For example, guests who make a reservation in advance typically spend more than a walk-in so you might want to put more tables online. That said, we still recommend leaving tables open for walk-ins.
