Automated Reservation Emails
August 24 2023 10:24pmGuests booking or making reservation changes online will receive an automated email from Resy with the reservation details every time they book, change, or cancel a reservation. We've listed examples below of the emails guests receive along with the options to customize the content.
Please note: The email customization feature is only available for restaurants on our Platform 360 and Full Stack monthly service plans. If you are interested in upgrading your account, please contact us at resysupport@resy.com or contact your Resy Account Manager.

Booked Email
Below is an example of the standard Resy “Booked” email.
To customize the body of the email:
- Go to Resy Dashboard > Guest Communications.
- Select the “Email” tab and edit content.
Edit Email
Below is an example of the standard Resy “Change” email.
To customize the body of the email:
- Go to Resy Dashboard > Guest Communications.
- Select the “Email” tab and edit content.
Cancel Email
Below is an example of the standard Resy “Cancel” email.
To customize the body of the email:
- Go to Resy Dashboard > Guest Communications.
- Select the “Email” tab and edit content.
Please note: Cancellation policy language in the footer of Resy emails cannot be customized. The cancellation language will auto-populate in the footer of the email based on the policy you have set for the table in your shift settings.
