May 6 2024 9:54pm • Est. Read Time: 2 MINThe Yesterday: Overview report is a perfect companion to your manager’s nightly recap email.
The filter is defaulted to show your data from all day yesterday. To look at a specific shift, click into the Service Period filter and select your shift.
The Cover Source report lets you know how the guests that dined with you yesterday came to dine at your restaurant. Using the example below, starting with the largest share, we can breakdown the cover sources and what they mean:
- Resy OS (iPad) [Purple 30.45%]: Reservations booked in-house by your team through the iPad.
- Walk-In [Teal 26.69%]: Guests who walk-in to your restaurant and dine.
- Resy App [Yellow 18.42%]: Reservations booked by guests through the Resy App.
- Resy.com [Orange 13.53%]: Reservations booked by guests on Resy’s website.
- Google [Green 10.15%]: Reservations booked via Resy’s Google integration.
- Your Website [Pink .75%]: Reservations booked by guests directly on your website through your booking widget.
In this example, over 30% of covers came through Resy sources (18% from the Resy App plus 13.5% from Resy.com) so you’d want to make sure all your profile information is accurate and photos are up to date. Since only .75% of reservations came through the restaurant’s website, you’d want to ensure the booking widget was installed and the reserve button is easy to find!
You’ll find a breakdown of yesterday’s:
- Total covers.
- Walk-ins.
- Day-of cancellations.
- No- Shows.
New Regulars identifies anyone who has visited you for the third time. Make sure they get a table touch on their next visit!
Average Turn Times by Party Size and Server clues into each server’s average turn times for each party size. If specific servers are great at turning larger tables, make sure to seat large parties in their section going forward and maybe cross train them with new employees.
In the example above, Nikita kept her turns low last night so you may want to give Nikita props at pre-shift and have them her work closely with Miles.
We recommend reviewing this report daily with your managers and operators. |
